There are many ways by which you can keep your clothing stylish and modest too.
During summers, the sun is scorching and so the more you expose your skin, the more is the chance of getting sun burns. That is why; one has to choose certain clothes that will cover you up. For trendy modest clothing, you can go for full sleeved tops or dresses or shirts as they cover the entire upper part of your body along with your hands. Choose some light materials like cotton or linen for summers. Go for very light shades like pastel colours and avoid wearing black as much as possible as this colour absorbs heat. Try colours like sky blue, off white, light pink, lemon yellow and others.
Traditional Anarkali is something one can go for when one is going for a get together or a function. These suits are made keeping in mind the pure traditional Indian designs. Then there are Kaftan dresses. These are perfect for evening outings. There are many long flowy Kaftan dresses which are available and they serve perfectly when you are going for a party or a dinner date. Buy those flowy gowns according to your body shape and then pair it up with some nice neck piece and a pair of danglers. Loose and stylish Kaftan dresses can look very elegant and for evening occasions, one can choose some dark shades as colours like velvet red or midnight blue. For summer afternoons when you are out with friends and in a happy mood; choose some light coloured breezy Kaftan tops or dresses. Go for colours like juicy oranges, pinks, lemony yellows, fuchsias and do not overdo your accessories. Keep it very simple and your make up also has to be very light.
If you have to wear a hijab, bring a twist to it. Add a head band to your hijab. This is the easiest way by which you can make it look different. There are innumerable varieties of head bands that are available these days. Go for plain solid coloured bands or go for some heavy ones; all of them will work nicely. You can also just tie a bow instead of a head band as bows are always in fashion. Wear the head band simply on top of the hijab or wear it on your hair and then wrap the hijab around it. Both ways it will look stylish.
